Sometimes it can be slightly tricky to see what relevance a bunch of people in the past have to our daily lives. It can be even harder when those people have been publicly acclaimed for their holiness and virtue - something that we might not even dream about for ourselves.

This PowerPoint reflects on some words written or spoken by various saints throughout history, and looks at how they might apply to our daily lives... To download it, you need to click on the link to the right, and choose 'Save As', naming a place where you want to save the file... Once you've got it on your computer, you can view it by opening the presentation, clicking on 'read only', and then starting it from slide one... although it might not look like anything's happening, just leave it to run, and it'll guide itself through!

You can sit there in total gloom and doom silence and watch it through for 7 minutes, but we especially put it together with a track called 'Amazing Grace' by Lisbeth Scott on the album 'State of Grace', which you can download from iTunes for 79p... if you're not up for that, try playing some chilled out music in the background which might help you focus...
